Zuzanna Irena Jurczak, known professionally as sanah, was born on September 2, 1997, in Warsaw, Poland. She is a singer-songwriter, violinist, and composer who began playing the violin at age four and later learned the piano. Jurczak's early career included participating in various talent shows such as The Voice of Poland and Got Talent. Her breakthrough came with the release of her first single "Rehab" under the alias Ayreen in 2017. In 2019, sanah released her EP ja na imiÄ niewidzialna mam, which reached number 3 on the OLiS sales chart. The following year, she launched her debut album Królowa dram (2020), which topped the Polish charts and included notable singles such as "Szampan" and "No Sory." Sanah continued her success with subsequent albums Irenka (2021) and Uczta (2022), both of which reached Number 1 in Poland. She later explored Polish poetry on sanah Åpiewa Poezyje (2022), followed by the chart-topping Kaprysy (2024). Her latest album, Dwoje ludzieÅków (2025), continued her interpretations of Polish poetry, while her most recent single, "itepe itede," was released in July 2026.
