Biography

Born Salomé Roux-Leclerc on April 27, 1986 in Sainte-François-de-Lotbinière, Salomé Leclerc is a Quebec pop singer. She recorded her debut album Sous les Arbres, in Paris in 2011. This was followed by a two-year tour of Quebec and Europe. She presents her second opus, 27 Fois l'Aurore, in autumn 2014. That same year, she won the Prix Espoir at the Festival d'été de Québec. In 2015, she is the recipient of three awards: the Prix Rapsat-Lelièvre, the Prix Félix-Leclerc and the Coup de cœur chanson francophone 2015 awarded by the Académie Charles-Cros. In 2016, Salomé Leclerc presented the Live Au Treatment EP , then opened for singer Vianney in France the following year. In October 2018, she launched the album Les Choses Extérieurs, with the song " Ton équilibre ", which became her first hit on Quebec radio. At the ADISQ 2020 gala, she wins the Félix for Sound of the Year for this opus. In October 2021, she releases her fourth album, Mille Ouvrages Mon Coeur.
