Biography
Lina Saga Carolina Erikson, known professionally as Saga, was born on September 27, 1975, in Kalmar, Sweden. She started her music career as a background singer for the White-Power band Pluton Svea. Saga gained prominence through her tribute albums to Ian Stuart Donaldson and his band Skrewdriver, releasing My Tribute to Skrewdriver Volume 1 and Volume 2 in 2000, and Volume 3 in 2002. These albums featured acoustic cover versions of Skrewdriver's songs. She performed at various international festivals, notably as a headliner at the Maygar Sziget in 2011.
