Country music singer Russell Dickerson was born in Union City, Tennessee on May 7, 1987. After attending Belmont University and earning a bachelorâs degree, he chose to pursue a musical career and signed with an agent. In 2011, he released his debut EP, Die to Live Again, and spent the next few years on the road, performing with fellow country music artists like David Nail. Thomas Rhett, Billy Currington, and Canaan Smith. His next release, the Yours EP (2016), featured the title track, which began to gain traction in the charts. Russell Dickerson signed with Triple Tigers Records, who took over distribution and promotion of the single. âYoursâ climbed to the Number 1 on Billboardâs Country Airplay chart and the Number 3 spot on the Country Songs chart. In October 2017, he released his debut full-length album Yours, which reached Number 5 on the Country Albums chart and was certified gold. The album also included the hit singles âBlue Tacomaâ and âEvery Little Thingâ. At the end of 2020, Russell Dickerson released his sophomore album, Southern Symphony, which included the hit singles âLove You Like I Used Toâ and âHome Sweetâ. In November 2021, he released the single âShe Likes Itâ which featured Jake Scott. The single was rereleased in February 2022 and was accompanied by a new video. After a collaboration with Thomas Rhett and the releases of the EPs Three Months Two Streets Down (2023) and Bones (2024), Dickerson followed with the recording of his third full-length, Famous Back Home (2025), featuring the hit single "Happen to Me", which topped the Canadian country chart.
