The Rubberbandits, a comedy hip-hop duo from Limerick, Ireland, consisted of Blindboy Boatclub (Dave Chambers) and Mr. Chrome (Bob McGlynn). Formed in the early 2000s, they initially gained recognition through prank phone calls that became popular on Irish radio stations. Their breakthrough came in December 2010 with the viral success of their music video "I've a Horse Outside," which garnered over four million views within two weeks. The Rubberbandits released their debut album Serious About Men in December 2011, preceded by the singles "I Wanna Fight Your Father." They won several awards, including "Best Irish Act" at the entertainment.ie awards in 2011 and an IFTA award for "Horse Outside". The duo also ventured into television, creating sketches for various networks and hosting their own shows.
