Biography

Rise and Fall of a Decade, an internationally acclaimed French band trio, was formed in 1988 in France by Thierry Sintoni, Pierre-FranÃ§ois Maurin-Malet, and Sandy Casado. The trio released their album Rise and Fall of a Decade in 1990, marking the beginning of their music career. In 1992, they released Noisy But Empty, followed by You or Sidney in 1994. Their live album Ubu Reine Live was released in 1995, showcasing their energetic performances. The band's music videos were directed by Nemo Sandman starting from 1997. In May 2007, Pierre-FranÃ§ois Maurin-Malet passed away due to cancer, leading to a tribute CD recorded in his honor. The band released Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow in 2007 and Love It or Leave It in 2008. Following Pierre-FranÃ§ois's death, Sandy Casado and Thierry Sintoni formed a new duo called Girls Like You in March 2016.
