The Dolphin Brothers were an English new wave and alternative rock duo formed by Steve Jansen and Richard Barbieri, which followed their tenure in the band Japan. In 1987, they released their debut studio album, Catch the Fall, through Virgin Records, which featured Jansen on lead vocals, drums, and keyboards, while Barbieri provided synthesizers and programming. The project included contributions from notable session musicians such as Phil Palmer, David Rhodes, and Danny Thompson and produced tracks such as "Shining," âSecond Sight," and âLove That You Need." The Japanese edition of the album included the bonus track âFace to Face."
