Biography

Ralph Young, born Ralph Young on July 1, 1918, in the Bronx, New York, was an American singer and actor. He began his career as part of the duo Sandler and Young with Tony Sandler. The duo gained prominence in the 1960s and continued their success through the early 1990s, releasing 22 albums. Known for their formal attire, including tuxedos, they performed extensively in hotels and casinos across the United States and internationally. They also made numerous appearances as guest artists on popular television variety shows. Young passed away on August 22, 2008, in Palm Springs, California, at the age of 90, following a brief illness. He was buried in Desert Memorial Park, Cathedral City. He was survived by his wife Arlene and children Neil, Arleen, Ron (Lisa), Guy (Bobbi), Lauren, and Rachel (Jose).
