Raquel GarcÃa Cabrerizo, known professionally as Rakky Ripper, was born on February 24, 1995, in Granada, Spain, and is a singer and songwriter. She began her music career at age 15 by uploading cover songs to YouTube. In 2018, she auditioned for Operación Triunfo, reaching the final casting but not being selected. Rakky Ripper's breakthrough came with the independent release of her debut album Neptune Diamond in 2019, which established her as a pioneer of hyperpop in Spain. She has performed at notable festivals such as Sónar CCCB and BIME, and embarked on a U.S. tour including stops at SXSW in Austin. In February 2023, she competed in the Benidorm Fest with her song, "Tracción", which reached number 16 on Spotify España's Viral 50 chart. Her second album, Nadie Lo Va A Hacer Por MÃ, was released in 2023.
