Biography

Pure Bathing Culture is an American indie pop band from Portland, Oregon. They released their self-titled EP produced by Richard Swift in 2012 on Father/Daughter Records. Their debut album Moon Tides followed in August 2013 on Partisan Records, featuring the single "Pendulum", which garnered critical acclaim for its similarity to Fleetwood Mac's style. The band toured extensively throughout the US and UK, opening for acts such as Death Cab For Cutie and The Shins. Their second album Pray for Rain was released in October 2015, produced by John Congleton. In April 2019, they released their fourth album Night Pass, produced by Tucker Martine, which received positive reviews from Pitchfork.
