Biography

Pleasure Game was formed in 1989 by two Belgian producers, Bruno Van Garsse and Michel Nachtergaele, three Belgian composers, Benoît Marrissal, Jacky Meurisse and Patrick Cools, and two singers, Laurence Stein and Nathalie Vincent, who succeeded him in 1993. But it was Philippe Dhondt, born in Roubaix on May 19, 1965, who was to become the "star". This singer-songwriter and radio host was the voice of Pleasure Game on all their tracks, and from 1995 he played the character of Boris, notably on the hit "Soirée Disco", produced by the same team and a huge success in France and Belgium. With Pleasure Game, he already established the corrosive, self-deprecating tone that was to become his trademark, with tracks such as "Le dormeur " and "Le petit chien qui fume".
