Biography

Pity Sex is an American alternative rock band from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Formed in 2011, the group released their debut EP Dark World in 2012 on Forward Records. They signed with Run For Cover Records and released their first studio album Feast of Love the following year. In 2014, Pity Sex toured extensively, releasing a split EP with Adventures featuring a cover of "Gigantic" by the Pixies. Their second album, White Hot Moon, was released in 2016. After vocalist/guitarist Britty Drake left the band later that year, they went on indefinite hiatus following their final tour dates. The band reunited in 2022 to perform at Sound & Fury.
