Pitou is a Dutch indie pop singer born in 1993. She sang in a classical choir between the ages of nine and sixteen, performing notable pieces such as Bach's Passion According to Saint Matthew at the baptism of Catharina-Amalia, Princess of the Netherlands. Pitou gained recognition with her song "Problems". She released her debut mini-album Pitou in 2016, followed by the album I Fall Asleep So Fast in 2018. She collaborated with Tamino, covering Debussy's "Clair de Lune", and Tamino's brother Ramy directed the music video for "Be Delicate". She embarked on European and UK tours following her album releases.
