Biography

Pips, Chips & Videoclips is a Croatian rock band formed in Zagreb in 1992 by Dubravko Ivaniš and Alen Kraljić. Their debut album Shimpoo Pimpoo (1993) featured the song "Dinamo ja volim", which became an unofficial anthem for GNK Dinamo Zagreb football club supporters. The band's lineup evolved, with notable additions including keyboardist Davor Striček and guitarist Tristan Karas. Their second album Dernjava (1995) won the Porin award for Best Alternative Rock Album in 1996. Subsequent albums like Fred Astaire (1997) and Bog (1999) received critical acclaim and multiple awards, including Porins and Crni mačak awards. The band released albums such as Drveće i rijeke (2003), Pjesme za gladijatore (2007), Walt (2013), and Vesna (2023).
