Biography

Pips, Chips & Videoclips is a Croatian rock band formed in Zagreb in 1992 by Dubravko IvaniÅ¡ and Alen KraljiÄ. Their debut album Shimpoo Pimpoo (1993) featured the song "Dinamo ja volim", which became an unofficial anthem for GNK Dinamo Zagreb football club supporters. The band's lineup evolved, with notable additions including keyboardist Davor StriÄek and guitarist Tristan Karas. Their second album Dernjava (1995) won the Porin award for Best Alternative Rock Album in 1996. Subsequent albums like Fred Astaire (1997) and Bog (1999) received critical acclaim and multiple awards, including Porins and Crni maÄak awards. The band released albums such as DrveÄe i rijeke (2003), Pjesme za gladijatore (2007), Walt (2013), and Vesna (2023).
