Peter "Pero" Lovšin, born on June 27, 1955 in Slovenia, is a musician and singer known for his contributions to rock music. He gained prominence as the frontman of Pankrti, the first Yugoslav punk rock group. In the 1980s, he formed the successful rock band Sokoli before embarking on a solo career that spanned over three decades. Lovšin's discography includes notable albums such as Dolina kraljic (1995) and Zadnji križarski pohod (1997). He supported the Sex Pistols on their 1996 tour and collaborated with Ivan Kral of Patti Smith's band. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Lovšin organized tours with folk rock musicians Vlado Kreslin and Zoran Predin, composing the anthem for the Slovenia national football team for the 2000 European Football Championship.
