Biography

PELbO is a Norwegian electronic and jazz trio from Trondheim formed in 2006. The group consists of vocalist and electronic musician Ine Hoem, tuba player Kristoffer Lo, and drummer Trond Bersu. They play music that incorporates elements of electronica, jazz, and rock. The ensemble released their self-titled debut studio album, PELbO (2010), through the label Rhinoprod. The work earned them a nomination for the 2010 Spellemannprisen in the Open Class category. In 2011, the trio was honored with the title of NTNU-ambassadør, an annual award given to an ensemble that represents the jazz scene in Trondheim and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. They have performed at various festivals, including a performance at Pori Jazz in 2012.
