Paolo Poli, born May 23, 1929, in Florence, Italy, was an Italian singer, actor, and director. He graduated with a degree in French literature from the University of Florence and started performing in avant-garde theaters. Poli's music career included several albums, such as La Mossa! (Canzoni Del Primo 900 Presentate Da Paolo Poli) (1967), Mezzacoda (1979), and Soiree Satie (1982). He also released an EP titled Al Cavallino Bianco in 1960. In addition to his music career, Poli also directed and acted in several theatre productions, including The Golden Ass, The Legend of Saint Gregory, and The Buskin and the Slipper. Poli passed away on March 25, 2016, in Rome.
