Over It was an American pop punk and melodic hardcore group from Alexandria, Virginia, formed in 1998. The band was founded by Peter Munters, Nick Bailey, Seth Watts, and James Ulrich. The group released the debut studio album The Ready Series in 2000 through Negative Progression Records and performed a tour in the United States. In 2001, the band signed with Lobster Records. The group released the album Timing Is Everything in 2002.In 2005, the band released the album Silverstrand and added Ryan Ogren to the lineup. Over It signed with Virgin Records in December 2005 and released the album Step Outside Yourself in 2006. The release featured the recording "Siren on the 101". The group performed on the Warped Tour and supported the band Goo Goo Dolls on tour. In 2006, the debut album was reissued as Welcome to Virginia. The group became inactive in 2007.
