The German band ok.danke.tschüss was founded in Mannheim in 2018. The indie rock formation is regarded as a prominent voice in the young German-speaking indie scene. Eva Sauter, Lucas Firmbach, Jacob Streit, Louise Peyk and Tobias Waldbauer have been playing concerts and festivals together since 2018. The musicians get to know each other at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg and soon start writing and producing their own songs. The band released their debut album Kaputt weil's nicht funktioniert in 2020. In 2021, the band wins the "DEINE BAND" competition. The follow-up Diesdas is released in 2023. The album Knutschen & Boxen is released in October 2025 and reaches number 7 in the German charts. Early singles include "Vincent van Gogh" (2019) and "Rosie" (2019). Later singles include "Leukämie du Bitch" (2022), "Joel" (2023), "Pfeffer" (2024) and "Was passiert", "Therapie", "Milano", "Rasendes Herz" and "Fremde Lippen" (all 2025).
