Heisskalt is a German rock band that was founded in October 2010 in Sindelfingen/Böblingen. The founding members are Mathias Bloech (vocals, guitar), born on March 3, 1988 in Stuttgart, Marius Bornmann (drums), born on July 12, 1987 in Böblingen, Philipp Koch (guitar), born on September 22, 1986 in Sindelfingen, and Lucas Mayer (bass), born on November 15, 1988 in Böblingen. The band plays a mixture of alternative rock, progressive rock, post-hardcore and punk rock. Their debut album Vom Stehen und Fallen was released in 2014 and reached number 29 in the German album charts. vom Wissen und Wollen followed in 2016, reaching number 9 in the charts. in 2018, they released Idylle, which reached number 14 in the German album charts. lucas Mayer leaves the band in 2016; Daniel Weber takes over the bass until 2018. From 2024, Lola Schrode plays bass in the band. It takes seven years before the band releases a new studio album, Vom Tun und Lassen, in January 2025. The album climbs into the top 10 of the German album charts for the first time at number 4.
