Tiemo Hauer, born 6 January 1990 in Stuttgart, Germany, is a German pop‑rock singer, songwriter and producer. Hauer began playing drums at 13 and later learned piano, writing his first German‑language songs before performing at his school festival and local venues. His debut EP Ehrlich Glücklich was issued in December 2009 on the indie label Green Elephant Records. In 2010 he signed a contract with Universal Music, releasing the single "Nacht am Strand", which entered the German singles charts, but he terminated the deal before his first album. Hauer acquired a 50 % stake in Green Elephant Records in 2011, releasing the studio album Losgelassen that same year and embarking on a nationwide tour. Subsequent albums—Für den Moment (2012, charting at Number 30), Zweihundertvierzigtausend (live, 2013), Camille (2014) and Vernunft, Vernunft (2016)—were self‑produced and released on his own label. After a period of reduced activity, he returned with the EP Ein kurzes für immer in 2019, followed by the studio album Gespräche über die Vor- und Nachteile des Atmens in 2020; the single "Aufeinanderliegen" earned the Publikumspreis at the 2021 Stuttgarter Filmwinter Buggles Award.
