Oha Girl Maple (formed in April 2010, Tokyo, TV Tokyo) is a Japanese female idol group born from the morning live TV program "Ohasuta". The group started with three members, Saki (Saki Ogawa, born November 18, 1996 in Saitama Prefecture), Erika (Erika Tanaka, born July 15, 1997 in Tokyo), and Shiori (Shiori Inoue, born November 26, 1996 in Chiba Prefecture), and later Eripon (Rina Ikuta, born July 7, 1997 in Fukuoka Prefecture) joined. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture on July 7, 1997) joined the group. The girls, along with program host Koichi Yamadera and the regulars of the day, brought smiles to the faces of the audience every morning. On November 24, 2010, they released the single "My School March" in collaboration with a popular group. This was the first single release under the name of Oha Girl in about eight years, and created quite a stir. This work brought out a new side of S/mileage singing songs not produced by TSUNKUâ. The coupling song "Morning Chime! Although the group regrettably graduated in March 2012, some of the members have continued to participate in the chorus project on the TV program, and the bond with the fans has remained strong.
