Odoardo Eugenio Giano Spadaro, born on January 16, 1895, in Florence, Italy, was an Italian singer-songwriter. He began his career in theater before transitioning to music, debuting with the song "Ninna nanna delle dodici mamme" in 1919. In the early 1920s, Spadaro performed in various theaters across Europe and later moved to France, where he gained popularity alongside artists like Maurice Chevalier. Throughout the 1930s and 1940s, Spadaro collaborated with prominent figures in Italian theater and cinema, including Paola Borboni and Dina Galli. He also appeared in several films such as La carroza de oro (1952) directed by Jean Renoir and Porta un bacione a Firenze (1955). Spadaro's career spanned various genres, from Italian song to world music, and he continued performing until his death on June 26, 1965.
