Nomansland is a Dutch eurodance band established in 1996, consisting of singer Jojanneke van der Veer and producers Alexander Strasser-Hain and Sven Kirschner. The group gained initial recognition with their debut single "7 Seconds", which became a European-wide hit in the fall of 1996. The track was particularly popular in Ibiza's discotheques before climbing the charts across Europe. Following this success, Nomansland released another notable single, "Fantasy", in 1997, which achieved chart placement in Austria. Both singles were accompanied by promotional videos and extended remixes. However, subsequent releases with different vocalists failed to replicate the earlier successes. Notably, the single Greensleeves did not enter the German charts. After Nomansland's disbandment, van der Veer pursued a solo career under the name Wannabeastar, focusing on rock music and continuing her activities in journalism and fashion design. Strasser-Hain and Kirschner continued their work in the music industry, producing for artists such as DJ BoBo and Thomas Anders. In 2005, a different duo briefly revived the Nomansland name with singles "Voice From Down" and "Soul Out There", but these did not achieve chart success.
