Nasty is a Belgian hardcore band formed in 2004 in La Calamine, Wallonia. The group released two early demo CDs, Van Damme (2004) and The Beginning (2005), before signing with Fuck This Recordings to issue their debut studio album Declaring War in 2006, followed by a 2007 reâissue under Goodlife Recordings. In 2008 the band issued Aggression through Goodlife, and Give a Shit in 2010, also on Goodlife. A change of label brought the 2013 release of Love on Beatdown Hardwear, after which the band toured extensively across Europe and the United States, supporting acts such as Suicide Tendencies, Terror and Deez Nuts. The 2015 album Shokka and the 2017 release Realigion continued the groupâs presence on Beatdown Hardwear, while the 2020 album Menace was issued by Century Media Records and reached number 36 on the German charts. In 2023 the band released Heartbreak Criminals, which peaked at number 73 on the German charts and showcased a broader lyrical scope; the album was noted for its diversity and eclectics. In January 2025 the bassist departed, with Tom Hushka replacing him. The band has maintained a steady output of hardâcore material and remains active in touring and recording.
