Biography
First Blood, an American hardcore band from San Francisco, California, was formed in 2002. Notable members include Carl Schwartz on vocals, Robert Rozendaal on bass, Johan Vesters on guitars, and Bobby Blood on drums, among many other former groupmates. The group released their debut EP, First Blood, in 2003 and followed it with a split EP with Blacklisted in 2005. Their first full-length album, Killafornia, was released on Trustkill Records in 2006. The band toured extensively that year with acts such as Ignite and Sick of It All, and appeared at the New England Metal Fest. In 2010, First Blood released their second album, Silence is Betrayal, on Bullet Tooth Records. Their third studio album, Rules, was produced by Will Putney and released on Pure Noise Records in 2017, peaking at number 18 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.
