Dying Wish is an American metalcore band formed in Sacramento, California in 2016. The group consists of vocalist Emma Boster, guitarists Sam Reynolds and Pedro Carrillo, bassist Jon Mackey, and drummer Jeff Yambra. Dying Wish released their first demo EP Dying Wish in May 2018, followed by the split EP Dying Wish/Serration Split later that year. In 2019, they gained attention with the single "Enemies in Red", featuring Bryan Garris of Knocked Loose. The band signed with SharpTone Records in 2020 and released their debut full-length album Fragments of a Bitter Memory in October 2021. Their second album, Symptoms of Survival, was released in November 2023. Dying Wish embarked on several tours, including a U.S. tour with Pain of Truth in October 2024 and as opening act for Spiritbox's Tsunami Sea tour in April 2025. Their third studio album, Flesh Stays Together, is scheduled for release in September 2025.
