Biography
Nadine Sierra, born May 14, 1988, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is an American operatic soprano. She started her musical journey at age 14 with the Palm Beach Opera and debuted in Engelbert Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel. Nadine Sierra attended the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts and won the Marilyn Horne Foundation Award in 2007. Her international breakthrough came with roles as Gilda in Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto and Lucia in Gaetano Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor. She has performed at venues such as La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and the Opéra Bastille in Paris. Nadine Sierra was honored with the Richard Tucker Award in 2017 and the Beverly Sills Artists Award in 2018.
