My Sleeping Karma is a psychedelic rock band from Germany founded in 2006. The band consists of: Matthias Vandeven on bass, Seppi on guitar, Steffen Weigand on drums and Norman Mehren provides sound effects. My Sleeping Karma play instrumental rock music, with musical borrowings from bands such as Iron Maiden, Slayer and Tool. in 2006, My Sleeping Karma released their self-titled debut album. Further albums followed with Satya (2008), Tri (2010) and Soma (2012), which increased the band's fan base. My Sleeping Karma now appear as support acts for well-known rock bands such as Monster Magnet. The rockers also play at various festivals such as Summer Breeze and Hellfest. In 2015, My Sleeping Karma achieved their first chart entry in Germany with the album Moksha at number 69. Another studio album, Mela Ananada, followed two years later. After that, My Sleeping Karma took a short break. Another longplayer, Atma, was released in 2022. At number 17 in Germany, it made another entry into the German album charts.
