Murry Gage Wilson, born on July 2, 1917, in Hutchinson, Kansas, was an American musician and producer. He began his career as a vigilante for the Southern California Gas Company before transitioning to executive roles at Goodyear. In 1967, he released his debut album The Many Moods of Murry Wilson. Wilson is best known for being the father of Brian Wilson, Dennis Wilson, and Carl Wilson, members of The Beach Boys, and uncle to Mike Love. He played a significant role in managing the band. Wilson died on June 4, 1973, in Whittier, California.
