Biography
Moon Safari, a Swedish progressive rock band from SkellefteÃ¥, was formed in 2003. Their breakthrough came after recording a demo tape that caught the attention of Tomas Bodin of the Flower Kings. Moon Safari released their debut album A Doorway to Summer in 2005, produced by Bodin. Subsequent albums include Blomljud (2008), Lover's End (2010), and Himlabacken Vol. 1 (2013). Moon Safari also notably received the 2012 title of Best Track from the Classic Rock Society for their song "Lover's End Pt. III: SkellefteÃ¥ Serenade". In 2017, Simon Ã
kesson temporarily left the group but rejoined later that year. In 2023, the band released Himlabacken Vol. 2.
