Biography

MKTO are the Californian duo of Malcolm Kelly and Tony Oller. They made their mark in 2012 with the infectious pop anthems âThank Youâ and âClassic,â followed by âGod Only Knowsâ in 2013. The name is a combination of the duo's initials. The duo are also actors and met when they were on the cast of the Nickelodeon TV show Gigantic. Kelly had previously starred in Lost and Oller in As the Bell Rings. Their debut album MKTO was released in 2014. They released the Bad Girls EP in 2015 and singles âHands Off My Heart/Places You Goâ and âSuperstitiousâ in 2016. The band briefly broke up in 2017 but returned a year later with the single âHow Can I Forget.â In 2019, they issued the singles âShoulda Known Better,â âMarry Those Eyes,â and âConsider Me Yours.â 2020 saw the release of the non-album singles âSimple Things,â âParty with My Friends,â and âHow Much.â A year later, MKTO disbanded once again after Tony Oller announced his departure from the group.
