Biography
Patrizia Vistarini, known professionally as Mita Medici, was born on August 20, 1950, in Rome, Italy, and is an Italian singer, actress, and showgirl. She began her career as a singer and actress, initially gaining recognition as a model and winning the Miss Teenager contest at the Piper Club in 1965 under the name Patrizia Perini. Her breakthrough in music came with her first single, "Nella Vita C'à Un Momento" (1969). Medici signed with Fonit Cetra, participating in Caravella dei successi with "Nella vita c'è un momento". In 1970, she made her television debut in the series Coralba. Her major hit was "......A Ruota Libera" (1973), which reached number 10 on the Italian music charts. She also hosted shows like Canzonissima with Pippo Baudo and participated in the musical comedy Una ragazza on Rai 1, from which the album Per Una Volta was released in 1974. She was also very active in theatre and presented Elena or the Love Passion, written and directed by Salvo Bitonti, in August 2023.
