Sakiko Takaoka, known professionally as Saki Takaoka, was born on December 3, 1972, in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan. She began her career as a singer and Japanese idol in 1988, releasing her debut album Sabrina that same year. Her initial breakthrough came with the release of singles such as "Mayonaka no Sabrina" and "Nemureme Mori no Bishôjo". Takaoka's music career spanned several years, during which she released notable albums including Rakuen No Shizuku, Romancero, and S'wonderful! in 1989-1990. She also ventured into acting, appearing in various films and dramas since 1989. Takaoka's career also includes voice acting, notably doubling the voice of Eve in the third episode OAV of the series anime Megazone 23. In addition to her musical endeavours, Saki Takaoka has been involved in various film projects. She starred in movies such as CF Girl (1989), where she played Kumiko, and Bataashi Kingyo (1990), portraying Sonoko. Her acting roles continued with notable appearances in films like ThHashi no nai Kawa (1992) as Nanae Minemura and Chushingura gaiden yotsuya kaidan (1994) as Oiwa.
