Michael Iwanyshyn, known professionally as Mikey Manville, was born on December 25, 1980, in Canada. He is best known as the singer and guitarist for The Manvils, a rock band from Vancouver. Manville's music career began with the release of his first single "The Devil's Wife" in 2004. In 2007, he released his debut solo album Broken Arms. The following year, The Manvils signed with Sandbag Records and began recording their self-titled album with producer Ryan Dahle. The band's music has been featured in various media, including the documentary series Moscow Freestyle and a Budweiser commercial. The Manvils have shared the stage with prominent artists like Stereophonics, Sonic Youth, and Ben Harper.
