Miho Fukuhara, born on June 19, 1987, in Sapporo, Hokkaido, is a Japanese singer-songwriter and actress. In 2002, as a middle school student, she won a singing competition on Hokkaido TV, which led to her discovery by Sony Music. After training in vocal performance and live shows in Sapporo, she debuted independently in 2006 with the single "The Roots" and the mini-album StepâOut, selling 10,000 copies. Her major-label debut came in 2008 under Sony Musicâs gr8! Records with "CHANG", which received extensive airplay. In 2009, she released her first major album, RAINBOW, which peaked at number two on the charts. In 2012, she made her acting debut in the drama Kaeru no Åjosama and later became the lead vocalist of Sweetbox. In 2014, she left Sony and formed her own label, Happy Field Records. One of her notable releases includes "Rising Heart/BEYOND"(2013), showcasing her diverse musical range.
