Akiho Sendo (born April 5, 1969, in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture) is a Japanese actress, TV personality, and former singer. She entered the entertainment industry in 1987 after participating in the national finals of the âLotte CM Idol: Itâs You!â contest. She made her singing debut in 1990 with the single âItâs a Melodyâ . That same year, she gained attention after being appointed host of the late-night program âAll Night Fuji,â and subsequently worked as an actress and TV personality across a wide range of fields, including dramas, movies, commercials, and variety shows. Her single âTOO BIGâ , released on October 25, 1990, was her third single. In her music career, she has released the albums *AQUIHO*, *HOT BOX*, *Senkyaku Manrai*, *Like the Wind in May*, *Romantics*, and *REFINE* . Since 2011, she has been based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, and in 2019, she participated in the campaign song for the âOne Hokkaido Project.â In 2026, a best-of album titled *GoldenâBest: Akiko Sendo* , featuring all of her singles, was released.
