Michael Schulte is a German singer-songwriter who was born on April 30, 1990 in Eckernförde. He first became known through the publication of cover versions on social media. In 2012, the artist reached third place in the TV casting show The Voice of Germany. In the same year, Michael Schulte releases his album Wide Awake, which reaches number 1 in the German newcomer charts. He accompanies Max Giesinger and Rae Garvey on tour and releases his EP Grow Old with Me. In 2013, he goes on tour solo for the first time. Further albums follow with The Arising (2014) and Hold the Rythm (2017). In 2018, Michael Schulte represents Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon with the song "You Let Me Walk Alone" and reaches 4th place. The albums Dreamer (2018) and Highs and Lows (2019) make it into the German album charts. In the following two years, Schulte released a number of singles, including "Wrong Direction " with Dutch country singer Ilse Delange (2020) and "Bye Bye Bye" with German producer duo YouNotUs (2021). In 2023, the single "Waterfall" together with R3hab announces Michael Schulte's next album. Remember Me is released in September 2023 and climbs to number 9 in Germany. The album Beautiful Reasons is released in mid-April and reaches number 10 in Germany.
