Yonatan Yaakov Margi, born 10 February 2000 in Tel Aviv, Israel, is an Israeli singer, actor, and dancer. Mergui first attracted attention as the runnerâup on the fifth season of Rising Star, where his performance of "How Far I'll Go" earned him a national following. He released his debut EP Ma Iyea in 2019, featuring singles "Asur" and "Hakol Shakuff", followed by Lo lihiyot levad in 2021. Subsequent releases Dark Side of the Rainbow (2022) and Shadows of Blue (2024) expanded his catalog, while singles such as "Lie Like This" (2022) and "Say Something" (2025) charted in Israeli pop charts. Merguiâs work has been noted for its blend of pop and R&B influences, securing him multiple domestic awards and a growing international presence.
