Marjana Deržaj, born on May 25, 1936, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, was a Slovenian singer. She began performing at a young age and released her first single, "ÄolniÄ / ZvonÄki In Trobentice", in 1958. In the early 1960s, she gained recognition at music festivals, including Opatija and Bled, and collaborated with artists such as Beti JurkoviÄ. Her recordings include popular songs like "Summer Night," "Scarecrow," and "To Ljubljana." After her death on January 18, 2005, her contributions to Slovenian pop music were celebrated with posthumous releases, including Za Vse Poletne NoÄi! in 2011.
