Marija Å erifoviÄ, born on November 14, 1984, in Kragujevac, Serbia, is a Serbian singer. She began her musical journey at age twelve with a public performance of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You". Å erifoviÄ released her debut album Naj, Najbolja in 2003 and participated in the Pjesma Mediterana festival, winning in 2004 with "Bol do Ludila". In 2005, she competed in Beovizija with "Ponuda" and won the Radijski festival with "U Nedelju" in 2006. Her second album Bez Ljubavi was released that same year. Å erifoviÄ gained international recognition by winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with "Molitva", becoming Serbia's first winner as an independent nation. Following her victory, she embarked on a promotional tour and was appointed European Ambassador for Intercultural Dialogue in December 2007. She went on to release Isam AnÄeo (2008), AnÄeo (2009), Hrabro (2014), Dolazi Ljubav (2023), and Uvek si mi Govorila (2024).
