Maria Sødal Arredondo, born in 1985 in Vennesla, Norway, is a Norwegian pop singer. Her debut album Maria Arredondo (2003) achieved significant success in Norway under Universal Music Norway. In 2004, she released her second album, Not Going Under, and her third album, the Christmas-themed Min Jul (2005), featured tracks produced by Jon Lord of Deep Purple and included the single "On Christmas Day". Arredondo's albums have combined sales exceeding 150,000 units. In 2007, she released her fourth album, For a Moment, which included the hit single "Brief and Beautiful" written by Hanne Sørvaag and Harry Sommerdahl. Additionally, Arredondo contributed to the song "That Day", alongside Marit Larsen and Marion Raven as part of the pop duo M2M.
