Manuel Agnelli, born on March 13, 1966 in Milan, Italy, is a singer and songwriter. In 1985, he founded the rock band Afterhours, which gained prominence on the Italian alternative rock scene with albums like Germi (1995) and Hai paura del buio? (1997). The band won the Critics Prize at the Sanremo Music Festival 2009. Since 2016, Agnelli has been a judge on X-Factor, mentoring Måneskin in 2017 and winning the 2024 edition with Mimì Caruso. In 2022, he released his first solo album, Ama il prossimo tuo come te stesso, which Rolling Stone ranked third among the best Italian albums of that year. His single "La profondità degli abissi", featured in the film Diabolik (2021), won the Nastro d'Argento and David di Donatello for Best Original Song.
