Biography

Mana Ogawa (小川真奈), born 2 July 1993 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese singer and actress who began her career in entertainment at age ten, appearing in television dramas and commercials. She made her first solo single, "Suppin Rock", on 19 November 2008, serving as the opening theme for the anime Hyakko, which marked her entry into the music industry. In 2009, Mana Ogawa joined the J‑pop idol group Canary Club under the Nice Girl Project!, adopting the nickname Ogamana; the group released several singles linked to the anime Gokujō!! Mecha Mote Iinchō, including "Mecha Mote I Love You" (20 May 2009) and "Mecha Mote! Summer" (15 July 2009). She also released the single "Daisuki ni Nare!" (21 October 2009) and "Genki ni Nare!" (20 January 2010), both used as opening and ending themes for the same series. Mana Ogawa’s solo debut album, 1 Teenage Blues, was issued on 21 July 2010, followed by a series of singles such as "Kimi ga Shuyaku Sa!" (16 June 2010) and "Mecha Mote Tai!" (18 August 2010). Throughout her career, she contributed to the soundtrack of Gokujō!! Mecha Mote Iinchō and participated in the radio program Ogawa Mana no Teenage Blues. Her work has been recognized for its contribution to anime music and pop culture, with several tracks charting in the top 100 of the Japanese singles charts.
