Biography

Lee Se-jin, known by her stage name Lyn (린), is a renowned South Korean singer celebrated for her emotive ballads and captivating TV soundtrack contributions. Born on November 9, 1981, in Namyangju, Gyeonggi, South Korea, Lyn debuted in 2000 with her album My First Confession under her birth name. Despite the initial lack of success, she re-emerged in 2002 with the album Have You Ever Had Heart Broken?, featuring the breakout single "Have You Ever Been Hurt By Love?", marking the start of her rise to fame. Over the years, Lyn solidified her place in the K-pop industry with a series of successful albums, such as Can U See The Bright (2004) and The Pride of the Morning (2007). Her versatility extends beyond ballads; she has explored various genres, collaborating with artists like Shin Hye-sung and MC Mong. Lyn is particularly renowned for her OST contributions, including "Back in Time" from Moon Embracing the Sun(2012) and the award-winning "My Destiny" from My Love From the Star(2013). Her musical excellence earned her the first-ever Best Original Soundtrack award at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2014.
