Kim Pil, known professionally as Kim Feel, was born on 27 August 1986 in Seoul, South Korea. He is a singer-songwriter who gained prominence through his participation in television talent shows. Kim Feel's breakthrough moment came when he was the runner-up of Superstar K 6 in 2014, which significantly boosted his visibility in the Korean music industry. Following this success, he released several singles, including "New Day" (ì²ìì¼ë¡) with Shin Jisoo, "Exhausted" (ì§ì¹ í루) with Yoon Jong-shin and Kwak Jin-eon. In May 2016, he signed with CJ E&M under the label MMO Entertainment. His debut EP from Feel was released in December 2016. Throughout his career, he has contributed to various soundtracks, including Reply 1988 (2015) and Memory (2016). In September 2020, he left CJ E&M and signed with Archive Morning. Several releases have since followed, including "Spring Night" (ë´ë°¤) in 2022.
