Biography

Luxuslärm, a German pop band originating from Iserlohn, North Rhine-Westphalia, was active between 2006 and 2016. Initially performing as a cover band under the name Blue Cinnamon, Luxuslärm transitioned to original music in early 2006 after meeting producer Götz von Sydow. Their breakthrough came with the release of their debut album 1.000 km bis zum Meer in 2008, which included the single "1.000 km bis zum Meer". The band won multiple awards in 2008, including Best Rock Group and Best Pop Group, and received the Public Prize from the German Rock & Pop Association. In December 2009, Luxuslärm was awarded the 1 Live Krone for Best New Group. Their subsequent albums included So Laut Ich Kann (2010), Carousel (2011), Alles Was Du Willst (2014), and Fallen und Fliegen (2016). Notable singles include "Unsterblich" and "Einmal im Leben". Luxuslärm also appeared in various television series and participated in the Bundesvision Song Contest 2012, finishing fourth with the song "Liebt sie dich wie ich?". In February 2016, they competed in the German preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest with "Solange Liebe in mir wohnt". Luxuslärm disbanded on December 30, 2016, after a final concert at the Stadthalle Olpe.
