Bell, Book & Candle was founded in Berlin in 1994 and consists of Jana Groà (vocals), Andy Birr (guitar, drums) and Hendrik Röder (bass). The band is known for its catchy pop-rock sound and achieves international fame with its single "Rescue Me", which reaches number 3 in the German charts in 1997 and is successful in several European countries. Her debut album Read My Sign (1998) contains other successful tracks in addition to "Rescue Me" and reaches number 4 in the German album charts. Several albums followed, including Longing (2000) and The Tube (2001). in 2024, they released their latest album L.O.V.E., which reached number 66 in the German charts. The band performs regularly at festivals and remains present in the German music scene. Bell, Book & Candle combines melodic rock elements with pop influences and is characterized by Jana GroÃ' distinctive voice and catchy melodies.
