Biography
Rajesh Haldar, known professionally as Lushlife, was born on August 1, 1981, and raised in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. He is an American rapper and record producer who grew up with a background in classical piano and jazz band arrangements. In 2005, he released his debut album, West Sounds, which featured mashups of Kanye West and The Beach Boys. Haldar's subsequent releases included Order Of Operations (2005), and Cassette City (2009) featuring vocals from Camp Lo and Elzhi, and Plateau Vision (2012). In 2016, he collaborated with production trio CSLSX on the album Ritualize, which included guest appearances from Killer Mike and Ariel Pink. Haldar also co-authored the children's book P Is for Pterodactyl: The Worst Alphabet Book Ever (2018).
