Biography

Love X Stereo, an electronic music duo from Seoul, South Korea, was formed by lead vocalist and synthesizer player Annie Ko and guitarist‑producer Toby Hwang, who met in 2005 after Hwang’s punk tenure with Skrew Attack. Their debut EP Buzzin' was released on 28 December 2011, marking a shift from punk to an electro‑rock sound that incorporated synthesizers and drum machines. Subsequent releases include the EP Hide and Seek (9 October 2015), the albums 37A (13 May 2017), 37B (30 November 2017), and Xennials (20 January 2020). The duo has performed at international festivals such as South by Southwest (2016) and Mu:Con (2023), and their music video "Rage Is Not Enough" won Best Music Video at the Canada International Film Festival in 2018.
