Biography
Love X Stereo, an electronic music duo from Seoul, South Korea, was formed by lead vocalist and synthesizer player Annie Ko and guitaristâproducer Toby Hwang, who met in 2005 after Hwangâs punk tenure with Skrew Attack. Their debut EP Buzzin' was released on 28â¯Decemberâ¯2011, marking a shift from punk to an electroârock sound that incorporated synthesizers and drum machines. Subsequent releases include the EP Hide and Seek (9â¯Octoberâ¯2015), the albums 37A (13â¯Mayâ¯2017), 37B (30â¯Novemberâ¯2017), and Xennials (20â¯Januaryâ¯2020). The duo has performed at international festivals such as South by Southwest (2016) and Mu:Con (2023), and their music video "Rage Is Not Enough" won Best Music Video at the Canada International Film Festival in 2018.
